At Horsin’ Around Hope Haven, we believe in the life-changing power of horses. Our nonprofit exists to create meaningful equine connections for children who might not otherwise have access to such opportunities.

We serve lower-income families and children with cognitive challenges—including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and reactive attachment disorder—by opening the door to healing, growth, and joy through hands-on experiences with horses. Time and again, we’ve seen the bond between a child and a horse spark confidence, trust, and emotional breakthroughs that last far beyond the arena.

Our mission also extends to outreach in our local community. We proudly support junior rodeo events in Boise County, ensuring that every child has the chance to participate in this empowering sport, regardless of their financial background. Rodeo is more than competition—it’s a place where kids discover grit, teamwork, and belonging. We host weekly Junior Rodeo Club events, Junior Rodeo Events, Buckaroo Bible Camp and more!

Finally, at the heart of our work is compassion for the animals themselves. We provide a safe landing place for older horses who might otherwise face uncertain futures, even the threat of slaughter. These seasoned partners still have so much to give, and at Horsin' Around Hope Haven, they are given a second chance to change a child’s life.
